
Phil Davey is one of two consultants who advise ISN on media issues. Based in Sydney, Phil provides strategic advice to the Chief Executive as ISN forms its approach and responses to developments in the superannuation arena.
Examples of the issues Phil has been involved in include ISN’s push to have commission based advice banned and the need for financial advisers to act in the best interests of their clients. Phil’s endeavours at ISN include best practice ‘campaign style’ public relations, utilising impeccable contacts across print and electronic media around Australia, to push a progressive public policy agenda on behalf of Industry Super Funds and their members. After more than 10 years of media experience in Government and the community sector Phil formed Mountain Media in 2008.
