
Alana Burnside joined ISN as Assistant Campaign Manager in October 2010 and after a short amount of time was promoted to Campaign Manager. Working with Erin Sales, she manages the highly successful Industry SuperFunds Joint Marketing Campaign.
Alana works closely with the 16 Industry SuperFunds that participate in the Campaign as well as agencies on research, creative development, media buying, and developing strategy. She also manages the Industry SuperFunds website and the Joint Marketing Campaign’s quantitative research tracker.
Alana has overseen significant updates of both the Industry SuperFunds and ISN websites, the development of useful online tools for members, and recent online campaigns.
Alana also played an integral role in the development of a TV Campaign known as ‘The Benefits of Super’ which launched in November 2011. One of the main objectives of this campaign was to help increase Australians’ confidence in superannuation as a retirement savings vehicle. The campaign creative was executed in a simple and single minded way, whilst using well established brand properties that are synonymous with Industry SuperFunds.
Prior to joining Industry Super Network, Alana worked as a Senior Account Manager for Blaze Advertising. Between 2004 and 2008 Alana was an Account Manager for Shannon’s Way (now The Shannon Company). Her key focus at Shannon’s Way was the Industry SuperFunds Joint Marketing Campaign as well as Cbus, Caresuper, Mother’s Day Classic, AUSfund and a variety of Government and community clients. Alana has a Diploma of Audio Visual Technology from RMIT and has completed RG146 Superannuation Essentials.
